NDC Top Capo Exposes Some Common Lies Of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia To Celebrate His 60th Birthday
SEASONED political activist of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has launched a scathing attack at the Vice President, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, describing the former Bank of Ghana (BoG) top worker as the King of lies.

The NDC capo who pleaded anynomous outlined eight common lies Dr Bawumia has peddled in this country to celebrate his 60th birthday on Saturday October 7, 2023.
According to the NDC firebrand, Dr Bawumua lied to Ghanaians that he worked at the Bank of Ghana and so I know that Ghana is rich, it is because the managers of the economy are incompetent and so all what they think of is borrowing.
He said that Bawumia lied that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) if voted for, will harness resources in Ghana to develop Ghana. I am telling you we can develop Ghana without borrowing. The money is there.
He quoted Bawumia to have told Ghanaians that "When we came in, it [the cedi] was running, essentially we have arrested it [cedi], and the IGP has the keys, he’s locked it up, we want to make sure we pursue sound policies to keep the cedi stable, it has appreciated for this year.
He noted that the statements were made by Dr Bawumia after the first hundred days in office but all these statements turned to be a complete lies. The Cedi has since broken jail and jailed the Vice President's economic knowledge.
Below are some common Lies Of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia To Celebrate His 60th birthday
3. “For us as government we are very much concerned about the poor and rural communities. Many a time development goals pursued by governments have been elitist. They focus on building the huge hospitals, theaters, museums etc., in the cities to the neglect of the basic needs of the rural folks”, he noted.
“This is not inclusive enough. If we want to impact lives as governments then we must prioritize the needs of the rural communities who have remained excluded from many parts and programmes of government.
That is why we have designed and implemented the $1 million per constituency policy to cater for the basic needs of the poor like toilets, drainages, dams for all year round farming, community water, footbridges, community town centres, reshaping roads, renovation of schools, provision of desks to schools, and many more”, he added.
We all know if every constituency was to get 1 million annually, that'll be 7 million on an average for districts with one constituency and double or triple for MMDAs with more. None of the Constituency got 1 million dollars from central government.
4. Ghana has not had a single case of cholera in the last five years. Not one single case of cholera. At the time he was making the claim, GHS sources indicated that Ghana had recorded a total of 26,435 cases of cholera within the period he claimed there was none.
5. Government will build concrete roads instead of Asphalt.
“Look at the Tema Motorway which was built with concrete and it is lasting almost fifty years. I checked and realised that even in India since 2014, they have a policy to only build concrete roads because it works out much cheaper, so I said well, let me bring it to my bosses and we have been discussing it in cabinet.
Well, Bishop Dag (Heward-Mills) I want to assure you that Cabinet discussed it as recent as last week and cabinet did decide that we should move towards concrete roads.”
He was speaking at the dedication of Harvest International Ministries in Accra in July 2017.
6. “After the first two years, no village or community will have a water or toilet problem,” October 2016.
7. “Ghana Card duly recognized globally as a valid e-passport”
ICAO flatly denied this claim on the 11th of February 2022.
8. “Once you complete the tertiary education, repayment of your students loan will be deferred till after your National Service where you will be given one year to pay up.” Bawumia said this at their campaign launch in Cape Coast in 2020 as one of their achievements.
Fact:
Schooling Dr Bawumia on the facts of the matter, the NDC political activists noted that
under the Student Loan Trust Fund’s Regulations, all students have a one-year moratorium after National Service, before commencing repayment using the prevailing GoG’s 182 day Treasury Bill rate.
According to them, this means that, the total repayment period is already 10 years for regular four-year degree students and couldn’t have been promised by Dr. Bawumia as new!
They stressed that one cannot promise what already exists.
They states that the "People of Cape Coast I have good news for you, we are building a new harbour and airport in Cape Coast, an airport makes a lot of sense in Cape Coast" Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia at the 2020 manifesto launch again.
“I noted that our Government has created many opportunities for the recruitment of personnel into the security services. As an example, when we assumed office in 2017, the Immigration Service had a total staff of 2,850 officers.”
The verdict is completely false, explaining that the Ghana Immigration Service indicated in its 2016 annual report that it had a total staff of 4,270. Out of this number, 471 were Senior Officers and 3,690 were Junior Officers.

11. FACT CHECK: Dr. BAWUMIA’s CLAIM, at University of Ghana on 17/01/2023 that Ghana is the 1st in Africa to adopt a digital address system was COMPLETELY FALSE!
Fact-Checks indicate that Ivory Coast adopted the startup technology as far back as 09/12/2016 [BBC]
12. Bawumia in 2016: Mahama deserves no credit for fixing dumsor
Bawumia in 2020 at NPP manifesto launch: We NPP have fixed dumsor which the NDC plunged us into it.
At his digitalisation lecture in November 2021
13. “Again, I believe the motor insurance database I believe I don’t know of any African Country that has put together this motor insurance database. Ghana is the first to do so.”
Verdict: Completely False
Explanation: Ghana began implementing the Motor Insurance Database on January 1, 2020, to provide a centralised system from which security agencies and the general public, including passengers of vehicles, could check the validity of vehicle insurance instantly.
But before Ghana took this initiative, some African countries had undertaken massive projects that compiled a comprehensive database of the motor insurance sector 10 years before Ghana’s rolled out.
One of such countries is South Africa.
The South African Insurance Association established a database in 2008, to fight insurance crime, especially also insurance fraud.
14. : “…Ghana is the first country in Africa … to achieve this type of interoperability between bank accounts and mobile wallets…”
It is a lie because Tanzania was already benefitting from interoperability long before we launched ours in 2018.
Ending on a lighter note.
15  “I least expected the death of Queen Elizabeth” She was 96 and sick. He lied.
Happy Birthday to the King of lies.
