NDC Puts Parliamentary Elections In 15 Constituencies On Hold Due To Disputes

The fifteen constituencies are Lower West Akim, Akwatia, Ayensuano, Afram Plains South, Adansi Asokwa, Mampong, Ayawaso West Wuogon, Odododiodo, Amenfi East, Gomoah Central, Akontombra, Tano North, Manhyia South, Asin North and Efutu.

NDC Puts Parliamentary Elections In 15 Constituencies On Hold Due To Disputes
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has put the parliamentary elections in some fifteen constituencies in the country on hold due to some electoral unrest.
The fifteen constituencies are Lower West Akim, Akwatia, Ayensuano, Afram Plains South, Adansi Asokwa, Mampong, Ayawaso West Wuogon, Odododiodo, Amenfi East, Gomoah Central, Akontombra, Tano North, Manhyia South, Asin North and Efutu.
 
 
However the presidential elections would be held in all the constituencies with the exception of the Mamhyia South 
 
This was contained in a statement signed by Deputy General Secretary in-charge of Finance and Administration of the NDC, Mrs. Babra Serwaa Asamoah.
The Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the NDC is working deligently to ensure that issues bedeviling the above constituencies ate dealt and announce new date for the parliamentary primaries in a due course.
The party is holding its parliamentary constituency elections across all constituencies of the country on Saturday, May 13, 2023.
