NDC North Tongu Communications Officer Hopeful Refutes Claims 

The Deputy Communications Officer and the incoming Constituency Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the North Tongu Constituency of the Volta Region, Mr. Wilson Wisdom Adzedekor, has denied claims that he has done little for the development of constituents, grassroots members, and party supporters since assuming office.

According to Mr. Adzedekor, his remarkable record and achievements are visibly overwhelming.

He stated that the claims made by critics were mere propaganda, asserting that he is the best-performing Deputy North Tongu Constituency Communications Officer the party has ever had in the constituency by providing employment opportunities for the party members in the last four (4) years.

He described his critics as dishonest and politically naive regarding the party's local history. He advised them to verify and compare his visible track record with those of his predecessors who served in the same capacity.

Furthermore, he pointed out that prior to the 2024 general elections, he supported the campaign and communicated party policies to voters by publishing Government manifesto policies.

 This effort, he noted, won over disgruntled grassroots members, supporters, and floating voters, leading them to vote massively for the NDC to secure political power.

The young outspoken politician highlighted that through his instrumental role in restructuring communication structures and strategies, the NDC in the North Tongu Constituency achieved an unprecedented increase in its vote margins during the 2024 elections.

Mr. Adzedakor stated that he is currently creating sustainable opportunities for Drivers, traders and women by connecting them to top figures, government bodies, and private institutions to support their livelihoods and business activities in the constituency. 

Additionally, he is working with strategic local and foreign investors to create sustainable jobs through agribusiness, mining & Quarry, Real Estate, Construction programmes for the local population.

Past Election Support

He stated that during the 2024 general elections, he solely supported voters by using his personal resources and vehicle to transport them to the polling centers to vote massively for the NDC.

Current Employment Efforts

He noted that now that the NDC has won political power, he is actively lobbying to help residents secure employment while empowering youth and women through skill development projects and programs in the constituency.

Criticism and Campaign Focus

He stated that critics were actively attacking his reputation and personality because of his declaration to run for the North Tongu Communication Officer position on a campaign focused on creating jobs and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth and women.

Party Strategy

He pointed out that he will focus on restructuring the communication structures and strategies of the NDC within the constituency.

Office Vision

He stressed that, if given the nod to become the Communication Officer of the North Tongu Constituency, he would utilize the office to inspire action and connect residents to real help.

Local Development and Support

In terms of local development, Mr. Adzedakor pledged to link the people of North Tongu to supportive institutions and networks.

Grassroots Job Creation

He stated that his key priorities would focus on job creation for grassroots supporters, NDC members, and constituents, irrespective of their political affiliation. Something I have started doing.

Economic Empowerment

He added that he would focus on economic empowerment and employment initiatives specifically for youth and women.

Strategic Partnerships

According to him, he also plans to implement strategic partnerships by working with government agencies, private businesses, and development partners across the globe.

Constituency Unity

He further pledged to build a united and economically strong constituency through active engagement with the support of all other elected executives.
