NDC internal Poll: Aspirant, Wisdom Adzedakor Urges Delegates To Vote For  Competent Candidates To Regain Power In 2024

A Deputy Communications Officer aspirant for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the North Tongu Constituency of the Volta Region, Wisdom Wilson Adzedakor, has urged delegates and members of the NDC who would be voting on Saturday October 22, 2022 in NDC internal constituency executives election to vote for competent, focus and hardworking candidates to ensure victory in the 2024 general election.
Mr Adzedakor who doubles as the former President of the Tertiary Education Institution Network (TEIN) of the NDC in the University College of Management Studies, explained that the victory of the NDC in the 2024 elections should be paramount to all party faithful, sympathisers and well-wishers to safeguard the nation country from the poor performance of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
Mr Adzedakor assured the delegates and members of the NDC that he is aiming to build a united, focused, determined, committed and formidable NDC communications structure in the constituency and use his good and effective communication skills to mobilise the youths to bring their efforts for the progress, growth and development of the party.
He stressed the need for all and sundry to work hard to ensure that the NDC’s interest reigned supreme in the decisions we make rather than being influenced by money as that will be detrimental to the party’s bid to wrest power from the NPP in 2024.
In this sense, Mr Adzedakor who was the former local President of National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) of the University College of Management Studies appealed to other aspirants and their supporters to ensure decorum in their campaign to ensure peace, harmony, cohesion and unity prevail before, during and after the internal elections.
According to him, they are going into internal elections which should be peaceful, and told the delegates that they should look out for people that can do the work because it is internal elections, at the end of the day we will come back together as one to fight for the party to win power in 2024.
He said his decision to be the Deputy Communications Officer of the NDC in the North Tongu Constituency was to enable him to effectively and efficiently implement decisions that would lead to the progress, growth and development of the party.
He cautioned that "Let us put our individual interests aside and seek the collective interest of the great NDC for victory in 2024. We need reliable, competent, responsible, incorruptible, dedicated people to execute the task ahead. 
"People who are ready to work whether there's availability of funds or not. Also, I want to use this opportunity to thank all the Branch Executives (Chairman, Secretary, Organizer, Treasure, Women Organizer, Youth Organizer, Communication officer, Members and the Ward Coordinators) of the North Tongu Constituency from the 152 Branches for accepting me/us into their various Homes, Branch (es) and Wards during our campaign tour," Mr Adzedakor noted.
Mr Adzedakor who is a number one on the ballot paper further appealed to the delegates to vote massively for 'me, so we can fight the 2024 general elections together with our limited resources and new policies/ideas.
He stressed that "This is my message to all the Branch Executives from Dorfor, Torgome, Volo, Battor, Mepe and Fodzoku Traditional Areas as we prepare to elect Constituency Executives on Saturday, 22nd October, 2022. 
He cautioned that they should avoid tribal politics and that they should rather outlined policies to change the face of the Constituency 
Mr Adzedakor cited challenges such as poor nature of roads in the area which had hampered access to healthcare and other social services, if given the nod, he would use good communication skills to lobby the government to temporarily fix the roads while they appealed for the government’s support and assistance.
He indicated that he would bring everybody within the party on board at all levels to make it possible for the NDC to win the 2024 general election and come to power to save the lives of Ghanaians from the incompetent government of President Akufo-Addo.
He said he would be dedicated, determined, dependable fair, neutral, compassionate and a unifier in dealing with all members of the party on all party issues.
Mr Adzedakor also gave an assurance that he would adhere to the decisions made by the top hierarchy of the party.
That, he stated, would make it possible for members of the party to benefit from anything that would be done by the party.
He pledged to empower members of the party especially at the grass roots with viable economic skills training initiatives so that they would be able to establish themselves.
On welfare system of the party, the aspiring deputy communications officer said he would liase with the constituency executives who would be given the nod to create an effective and efficient welfare scheme that would capture both current and past executives who sometimes felt neglected.
He therefore appealed to them to give him their maximum support to enable him to win the deputy communications Director to lead the party communications in the constituency level to one-touch victory in the 2024 polls.
