Mzbel has been criticised on social media for stealing a tribute post without recognition for the original author of the post.

The musician and staunch supporter of the National Dmocratic Congress stole a tribute sent to Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang word for word from a random social media user.

"Dear Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang,"

"When Joe Biden named Kamala Harris as his running mate; when he won the election, making her the first female VP of the USA, I was overjoyed. Because it is a development I have always anticipated."

"Your naming was a breath of fresh air. It would be great to have you as the first female Vice President of Ghana. And you will do a fantastic job."

"No matter what happens tomorrow, I will always remember you as a pacesetter. The one who dared."

"I will remember you as the one who got in held the door for us to come through."

"Irrespective of the vitriolic jabs, you stood your ground. This is the beginning of history being kind to people of our gender. It is the beginning of a revolution, and I am here for it all."

"Your words, 'What really matters is not the first to be through the door, what matters is to hold that door open for those behind us' will forever ring. It will forever remind me of my duty to those behind me."

"Because of you, we too can."

"All the best.Love,.#PeriodMatters#DontTaxMyPeriod#FreeMyPeriodCampaign#GhanaDecides" Mzbel wrote.

Social media users were quick to point out that the beautiful prayer, wishing Prof Opoku Agyemang, who is the Vice Presidential Candidate for the NDC, well had originally been uploaded by another user by the name Able Delalie.

The unhappy lady also called out Mzbel for stealing the post, the action which attracted the attention of other social media users to call her out as well to do the right thing.

Check out the reactions below.

Able Delalie,  who has been earmarked to have created the post took to her Facebook page to express her joy at the fact that Mzbel stole her tribute.
