The Minority Members on the Education Committee of Parliament have lamented on what they say is the lack of commitment on the part of the government to complete some E Block school projects commenced by former President, John Dramani Mahama.

The Minority Members who are embarking on a tour to ascertain the level of work of some of these projects say they are shocked Education Minister, Yaw Adutwum in one of his recent appearances in Parliament asserted that the government had not abandoned the projects when the situation on the grounds says otherwise.

Making a stop at the e block facility in the Sege constituency of the Greater Accra region, the team indicated their resolve to have the Minister summoned to the house to answer questions.

Minority spokesperson on Education, Peter Nortsu Kortoe added that since Former President Mahama left office, the Akufo-Addo administration has done nothing about the E-Block.

'We are on this trip to identify these projects and the government should sit up and complete these projects, he stressed

'We are still disappointed because those projects which are partially completed were done by the Mahama administration, he explained.

For his part, MP for Sege, Christian Otuteye underscored the relief the school would have brought to his constituents if it had been completed. 

'My constituents and I are so much disappointed sake of the congested classrooms student occupy', he lamented.
