Manchester United have released a statement concerning the arrest of captain, Harry Maguire in Mykonos on Greek island.

The United full-back is on holiday and is reported to have been involved in a dispute outside a bar on Thursday night.

The club has disclosed that contacts have been made with their defender and will stay lip shut until its appropriate to update the press on any development.

"The club is aware of an alleged incident involving Harry Maguire in Mykonos last night," the club released a statement on Friday morning.

"Contact has been made with Harry, and he is fully cooperating with the Greek authorities.

"At this time we will be making no further comment."
