Leo-Nelson Adzidogah Writes:   Positive Outlook And Implications  For The Fortunes Of NPP With The  Elections Of New National Executives
The delegates of the NPP in the just ended national elections made a good decision in their choice of the leadership

the party.

The delegates decided to inject new energy and bring new faces to steer the affairs of the party. New energy is needed to propel the party forward with new vision and strategies. Only two old Executives retained their positions in the current National Executives.

It is expected that the new leadership will give a new direction to the party and impart a new lease of hope to the entire membership of the party.
The critical most important measure to reinvigorate the the spirit of the members is to move away from the lethargic approach that characterized the performance of the old Executives which produced the abysmal electoral results of the 2020.
We can see the firm resolve of the New National Chairman and the General Secretary to push the party forward for more electoral gains in the future.
Mr. Stephen Ntim who really deserved this position at this time is bent on doing something different from what pertained in the past as far as the party organization is concerned.
Mr. Justin Frimpong Kodua is drenched and soaked in energy and dynamism to carry the necessary reorganisation of party and set it on the path to break the 8 year political cycle.
The combined effect of the energies of the two leading National Executives is seriousness and utter dedication to the party.
However, the general expectations of the members are;
1. Effective and efficient running of the part office.
2. Regular presence in the office.
3. Answering calls.
4. Responding to calls
5. Returning calls.
6. Attending to the requests and the needs of the members
7. Drawing the attention of the government to the needs of members.
8. Assisting the government in providing advice on any unfavourable conditions in the country
9. Working closely with the government to address issues confronting the people of the country in general.
10. Generally, operate as the intelligence apparatus of the governmentby providing the appropriate information and signal about the general condition in the country.
To keep the party vibrant and agile, it is of utmost importance to organize regular workshops or seminars on;
1. General party organization
2. Mobilisation and membership drive techniques
3. Voter winning strategies
4. Political communication
5. Party financing
6. Party discipline
7. Conflict resolution
8. Campaign strategies
9. Go Out To Vote (GOTV) techniques
10. Voter planning and targeting
11. Techniques of  voter analysis
12. Team building techniques
Most importantly, building unity is a key driver in achieving success and objectives of the party.
In all these, close working relationship must exist between the government and the party.
It is believed that when the party is run with these techniques, principles and others, the usual and occasional despondency among the party people will be diffused.
Members will have a sense of feeling and belonging thus decide to give off their best to the party. This makes the party attractive and appealing to floaters and consequently improves our chances to win elections all the time.
