Kotokrom-Yawhema-Chiraa Road Construction Begins Today After Chiraa Hemaa Request.

The construction of the two major bypasses of Sunyani Kotokrom to New Dorma road has begun today, 12th September 2022, project which is under the sinohydro road facility.

This was disclosed by Baba Amando, the Communications Officer for Sunyani East, on Good Morning Moonlite Show with Kwame Agarko.

The uncompleted new Dormaa to Kotokrom road as some residents has described as s a deep pothole, bumpy, and muddy when it rains heavily, "indeed the road is in a deplorable state" the residents expressed worry.

One of the greatest challenges in Sunyani is the roads but residents are happy as construction works began today as promised.

In an attempt by the authorities to respond to the Chiraa Hemaa, Nana Yeboah Pene II's request of calling on the contractor to back to the site is a laudable approach by the authorities to listen to the cry of the people. 

However, Honorable Ansu Kumi, DCE for  Sunyani East also expressed his gratitude to Government and SEMS construction for the gesture.
