Kofi Jamar has revealed his humble origins.

The rapper narrated how he started his career from grass before climbing to the heights of the music industry.

While speaking with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM’s Ekwansodwodwo, he disclosed that he used to carry corpse for burials after which he would still proceed to serve food for them when the bodies have been placed in the ground.

He spoke on all the challenges that he faced while clawing his way to stardom; he noted that he was already determined to do anything to survive.

That was his only source of income, he said.

However, he averred that no condition is permanent.

“it was a contract so when it comes that there is a funeral that we need to work on, we will be in charge of everything that is carrying the corpse to the grave and also serving meals at the funeral and I had to do it because I have to”.

“I believe God made me go through that process to show others that whatever they are going through, they wouldn’t go through them forever. When I was going through all those procedures, I knew that wasn’t where I was supposed to be and all those people who knew me before will believe that in life anything can happen”

Kofi Jamar is set to bag awards at the upcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
