As Ghanaians attack Nana Agradaa for being a fraudster, GhOne TV newscaster Serwaa Amihere has vehemently supported the alleged con artist.

Serwaa claims that Agradaa has committed no crimes and that if she is found guilty, many other pastors also need to face charges.

Amihere is vehemently protecting Agradaa because she encountered legal issues (again).

She is charged with scamming some churchgoers by stealing their money to double or triple it before fleeing with it.

After angry churchgoers rushed the property on Saturday in search of their money, authorities detained Agradaa on Sunday.

However, based on what Amihere has observed thus far, Agradaa does not appear to have deceived anyone.

She posted on Twitter that if Agradaa faces charges, "many, many, many pastors and religious people in Ghana must also face charges. Every seven days or perhaps less, people agree to donate their money to others in our country so that they can chop taxes.

“I wasn’t at Agradaa’s church but is there a video of Agradaa ever promising to double anyone’s money? I want to see it,” Amihere continued.

Amihere demanded evidence that Agradaa had allegedly requested others to bring money to be doubled as her supporters blasted her for defending the con artist.

“I want to see a video of her saying she’ll double the money.,” Amihere said. “She complained that they don’t want to give so when they see someone getting a big amount they shouldn’t be surprised.”

She also said that any cash given to her by others was an offering made by them.
