Fabricated Fictions: Mahama Has Not Suspended Madina Tour Because of MP, Lawyer Sosu–NDC Footsoldiers Jab Detractors
FOOTSOLDIERS and sympathizers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in various communities within the Madina Constituency of the Greater Accra Region have debunked news reports by a section of the Ghanaian media that flagbearer of the NDC, H.E President John Dramani Mahama  suspended his tour of Madina enclave because of the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area,Honourable Francis Xavier-Sosu and constituency executives.
According to them, at no point has the former President Dramani, personally claimed that
he postponed his special tour of Madina due to misconduct of the current MP and the Madina Constituency executives as contained in the mischievous media reports sanctioned by some hooligans in Madina.
They also debunked reports that the MP's misconduct has brought division in the party,  affecting the chances of the party to win the Madina constituency parliamentary seat in the 2024 general elections.
They stressed that these are fabricated fictions being perpetrated by some members of the NDC in Madina Constituency who have been suspended for 'anti-party' conduct recently.
"We are aware of the nefarious activities of paid media hirelings of suspended members of the party in Madina to soil the image and reputation of our hardworking MP because of reasons best known to them. These attempts are dead on arrival because the facts speak for themselves, and our MP has done nothing untoward,” they added.

They pointed out the the sixteen members of the National Democratic Congress in the area have been suspended for "anti-party" conduct and they have been referred to the Disciplinary Committee.
However, according to them, since the suspension of these individuals, they have formed groups with the primary objective to be attacking integrity of their hardworking MP, peddling series of falsehoods against the MP and current constituency executives with the reason best known to these detractors.

The foot-soldiers backed their claimed

at press a statement from the national leadership of the party signed by the Greater Accra Regional Secretary of the NDC, Mr Theophilus Tetteh Chaie, which informed the constituency executives in all the 34 constituencies about the postponement
of the tour of former President.
They indicated that the statement has mot cited the MP for reasons of postponement of the tour of former President Dramani Mahama, but these miscreants cooked lies against the MP by way wrong accusing him of any wrong doing.

They stressed that the current MP of the area  at all times believes in upholding the rule of law in the determination of all matters and that he have respect for everybody in the constituency.
They advised those suspended members of the NDC in the area to avoid back biting and gossiping, but unite and support the current MP to implement his good policies and programmes to develop the constituency.
They stressed those negative practices would not augur well for the party and must therefore be stopped in the interest of party unity and cohesion.
They further advised supporters of the party to bury their differences and unite and mobilize more people to join the party to win the constituency parliamentary seat in the next election.
The foot-soldiers indicated that the NDC is poised for victory in this year’s general elections but will require the massive support of all residents and citizens of Madina to attain such victory to be able to bring the needed hope of good governance and prosperity to the people of Ghana.
On his part, the Parliamentary Candidate for the NDC, Honourable Sosu admonished the people of Madina to grasp the opportunity that 2024 presents in order to put the destiny of present and unborn citizens back on track by voting him and the NDC into power in 2024.
He further noted that, the NDC has demonstrated that it is the only party that provides major developments to the people of Madina and that is the tradition he seeks to enhance.
The MP, however, expressed optimism that he would defeat the NPP Parliamentary Candidate in this year’s elections and called on supporters, members, floating voters, sympathisers to help to achieve his purpose.
