Mercurial gospel musician, Nobel Nketiah is of the opinion that Patience Nyarko was well within her rights to vent her frustration against Joe Mettle.

The 'My Vision' Hitmaker chastised the section of fans who have hurled insults at Patience Nyarko and called them 'wrong' for doing such against an artiste who was just airing her opinion on a particular matter.

He questioned the place of freedom of speech in the entertainment industry and the recent trend of celebrities being stigmatized over different comments that they've made.

“It’s wrong to chastise her for whatever she says,” while speaking in an interview with host MzGee.

The Sound Lion Records artiste noted that the media, are unfairly targeting showbiz entertainers saying, "I also think that the radio or the public is not the place for her to spill her issues.”

He gave his input on the Patience Nyarko vs Joe Mettle beef, and it apparently seems like he has taken Patience's side. This is coming after Patience Nyarko made her unprovoked comments against Joe Mettle when being quizzed by UK-based DJ Alordia.

“Joe Mettle is not where people want us to believe he is. The way people want to lift him above all of us, they will give him problem. He is not yet there. People want us to believe he is better than all of us gospel musicians in Ghana,” Patience Nyarko retorted.

“Apart from Joe Mettle singing Pentecost and Methodist songs, how many English songs has he composed and you want to disrespect some of us that write our own songs.”

Her comments have been met with widespread disdain from fans of Gospel music in general, as most of them noted that singing for Christ should not be a competition for artistes with some gospel musicians, however, starting to support her claims making it seem like she spoke on the things that they themselves were afraid to speak about.
