Death Hit Afia Schwarzenegger As She Lost Her Father

Ghanaian actress and socialite, Afia Schwarzenegger has been thrown into mourning as she sorrowfully announced the death of her father.

 Afia on her Instagram page posted a picture of herself and her dad together where she announces the death of his beloved father in the comment section.

Afia Schwarzenegger wrote, "My hero has gone to be with the Lord. Rest in peace Daddy... I'm lost".

After the post, fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry have since been sympathizing and consoling her as others try to sway her mind off the pain claiming she has many fathers in the country so she shouldn’t be down with her dad’s dead

Afia’s father has been fighting an undisclosed illness since last year and has been admitted to the hospital on several occasions.

The actress shared some sad photos of her father in critical condition a few months ago and asked her fans to pray for him.

She even mentioned the names of some rich men in Ghana and begged them to help her foot the hospital bills of her father so he can get the best of medical attention but her efforts yielded no results.

About seven days ago, Afia lamented over his deteriorating health condition.

She said “whenever I have to do basic chores for my father like bath him, change his diaper, and put him to sleep, it makes me sad. It makes me really sad. I wonder what we are living for in this world. It makes me really sad. It breaks my heart and I become helpless.

“I’m going to D-Black’s pub to get drunk, come back and lock myself to sleep,” she added. Afia Schwarzenegger and her father have become closer in recent times as she moved him from Kumasi to come and stay with her in Accra.
