According to the residents of Tuba and Kalabule, they intended to stage the demonstration because Mr Arku-Korsah has built estate houses to block their waterways, pushing for the demolition of the buildings to end the flooding situation when it rains.

Thousands of residents including landlords and ladies at Kasoa-Kalabule Junction have declared to lead a massive demonstration against the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Medium Dwellings Company Limited, the real estates development company in Accra, Mr Josiah Arku-Korsah.

According to the residents of Tuba and Kalabule, they intended to stage the demonstration because Mr Arku-Korsah has built estate houses to block their waterways, pushing for the demolition of the buildings to end the flooding situation when it rains.
They mentioned that this long unending situation was adversely causing perennial floodings, resulting destruction of lives and properties of people living around Kalabule ,Tuber Junction, Chinese and other areas of Resurrection Power Ministry.

Speaking in an interview with Soireenews.com on Thursday May 18, 2014, the residents noted that a couple of months ago when there was a heavy downpour, the flooding water has killed one old woman who happens to be in her room.
The frightening phenomenon, they stressed has  angered the residents and opinion leaders in the area to petition the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) boss, Mr. Kwesi Agyemang,Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ga South Municipal Assembly, Mr.Joseph Nyarni Stephen, the Chief of Staff, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Sylvester Tetteh to draw their attention but to no avail.

They said, series of letters has been sent to the Assembly,the office of Sylvester Tetteh, Kwesi Agyemang, Office of the Chief of Staff and the office of the MCE and individual stakeholders but they all turned deaf ears to their plights.
They stressed that "we are now going to demonstrate to the office of the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to tell him about the lives and properties destroying at their area due to the greediness of Mr. Korsah.

"We are going to tell President Akufo-Addo to ask the real state developer to demolish the the estate buildings on the water ways so as to allow the water to passage," they noted.
Bringing his messages to an end, he stressed said, "their demonstration is going to be peaceful one because letters has been sent to the Ghana Police Service,and other securities service to give them the Men to protect them."
They added that "but if all these do not work this time around they will let Mr. Korsah to dance to the tune of the music," they threatened.
When contacted, Mr Arku-Korsah stated that his building has not caused floods in the area.
He noted that the some developers were indiscriminately built on the waterways, the situation which he stressed has caused the problems in these areas.
