Chelsea have revealed interest in Erling Haaland, Sky Sports reports.

The Borussia Dortmund forward has been on the radar of Real Madrid since his arrival from RB Salzburg last season.

The Norwegian has scored 37 goals in 37 competitions for the Bundesliga side since his arrival and has been tipped to join Zidane’s side at the Bernabeu.

Chelsea are one of the few European players who have entered the race to sign the 20-year old whose contract expires in 2024.

His release clause of €75m (£66m) could be forced to be activated by Dortmund in 2022 if they decide to hold unto the player for another year.

The arrival of Thomas Tuchel could lead to the influx of few players into the squad after Frank Lampard failed to make use of his new acquisitions at the cost of £220m for Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Edouard Mendy, Hakim Ziyech and Ben Chilwell.

The German played goalless against Nuno Espirito Santo's men 24 hours after been named as Lampard's successor.

The former Blues manager was sacked on Monday by Chelsea after failing to perform following his 18-month stay as manager of the Premier League club.
