CEO of Masloc begins nationwide stakeholder engagement

The Chief Executive officer of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre - MASLOC, Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah and her Deputy in Charge of Operations and Southern Sector, Mr Paul Sarbeng have started a tour of the Southern Sector to engage Stakeholders with regards to the operations of the organization.

The visit is to familiarize themselves with the stakeholders in the regions and also to remind the people of the core mandate of the Centre, which includes but is not limited to disbursements of loans, vehicles, tricycles, etc. as well as recoveries.

The CEO also had an engagement with the media where she explained the processes involved in accessing facilities at the centre as well as the readiness of Masloc to assist people who have what it takes to access any facility at the centre and are ready to pay back.

The CEO reiterated the need to cooperate with MASLOC especially with the repayment as the interest rate is drastically reduced in order not to overburden their clients with high-interest rates that may lead to defaults. The CEO added that the recovery rate of every region will determine how much funds are sent to the respective regions.

At the Bono Region, the Regional Minister commended the CEO for her passion in service through sensitization and education coupled with her appeal to clients and the general public on the need to repay their loans. The Minister also assured MASLOC of their full support.

The CEO also held a meeting with the staff and management of the Bono Regional Masloc office to discuss issues confronting them in the areas of recovery and their welfare.
