Evangelist Cecilia Marfo has emphatically stated that she is not worried about the stern criticism she has been receiving in the past week.

The prophetess has been under fire since last week Friday for storming on to the stage to wrestle the microphone from Joyce Blessing during her performance at the Annual Thanksgiving Service which was organized by the Unity Group of Companies in Kumasi.

According to Cecilia Marfo, she was moved by the Holy Spirit to act like that because He wanted her to tell Joyce Blessing to go back to her failed marriage, as this is His will for her.

Immediately after the event, the prophetess has been being bashed by industry players who feel that her unruly behaviour should no longer be tolerated in the industry.

Brother Sammy, Gifty Osei, OB Nartey, Kwesi Ernest, Evangelist Diana Asamoah, Prophet Kumchaha, Counselor Lutterodt and others joined the trend to criticise Cecilia Marfo for what they described as unruly behaviour towards Joyce Blessing live on stage all in the name of ‘under the guise of the Holy Spirit’ and prophetic utterances.

The 'Afunu Ba' hitmaker has now replied that she is not bothered or discouraged by what is happening.

She said this in an exclusive interview, on Accra FM's Ayekoo Ayekoo with Nana Romeo.

“Do you see me discouraged (smiles), I am never discouraged. When I go out for evangelism, it baffles me how people happily accept my message and come closer to me”.

“One man came out from his car during one of my Evangelism in Accra TUC, and he hugged me. Full of tears, he surrendered his life to Christ and made a vow not to smoke again”, she added.

“In everything, still give thanks to God. God loves us and he never repays evil deeds. His punishments keep us back on track. God can test us in so many ways”.
