Breaking: Secessionist group mount demo, seeking independence

Some members of the Homeland Study Group Foundation (HSGF),a successionist group have today September 25, 2020 block roads and entry points in the Volta Region.
The group are demanding the independence of Western Togoland.
Most passengers travelling to areas in the Volta Region including Tefle, Tsopoli and Juapong have all been left stranded as a result of the development.
The group in the past have been arrested, taken to court and warned to desist from their activities but have begun again.
Reports indicate that they have clashed with some police personnel and are calling on the government to declare them independent or they will cause more destruction.
