According to the Physical Planning Officer, the project will be under the agreement of build-operate and transfer and the period will depend on the cost of construction by the individuals who will undertake the project.

The Assembly Member of Berekum Kyerebaa Electoral Area in the Berekum East Municipal of the Bono Region, Honourable Lord Kwame Yeboah today 30th January 2023 together with Berekum East Municipal Assembly Physical Planning Officer Mr Henry Awauh has demarcated the Kyerebaa Market Land to the people of Kyerebaa to build their market stores for the development of the area.

According to the Physical Planning Officer, the project will be under the agreement of build-operate and transfer and the period will depend on the cost of construction by the individuals who will undertake the project.

He added that the Municipal Assembly will keep monitoring the materials, costs and other things needed for the construction which in turn will benefit those who have invested in the project for the years the operator will run the store to bear the cocostsst of the construction.

He explained that the initial cost the Assembly has placed on the allotment of the land will be Ghc1000.00 which will enable an individual to own the land to start the construction.

The Assembly Member Honourable Lord Kwame Yeboah also said the market when completed will help the community to have its market for the progress of the Kyerebaa Electoral Area and other nearby communities.

He said all those who have shown interest in constructing on the land has been given the mandate to finish the stores and all the plan and designs will be directed by the assembly to ensure all the developers will build according to the well-planned design the assembly.
