Wendy Shay has cried out on the unfair treatment she receives from Ghanaians.

The RuffTown records signee exclaimed that she left a lot of racism behind in Germany and she did not expect to meet the sort of discrimination she has been receiving from Ghanaians, her own people.

According to her, the two-year journey to becoming a Ghanaian artiste has been riddled with criticism.

She has been surprised so far by the amount of hate that has been thrown her way from Ghanaians even after them knowing the racism she faced in Germany for so many years.

Wendy Shay exclaimed that all she wants to do is share her God-given talent with Ghanaians even though they might never accept her.

“Leaving my mum at age 22 to come and do music in Ghana was not easy. I faced a lot of racism in Germany and when I finally came back to Ghana, I thought I’d be accepted."

"But no, it didn’t happen. Nobody knows what I’ve been through. From cyberbullying to all sorts of embarrassments. I just came here to do music. All I wanted was to give my gift to Ghanaians but they didn’t want to receive it,”

She said this in her live Instagram video.

Not giving is her mantra, she maintained as she revealed that she has grown to be strong-minded in the industry to face many of these trolls on social media.

The trolls would never get to her; at no point would they make her consider quitting music.
