Actor Deyemi: "I'm not abusive; it's just a fictional character"

In a recent interview, the actor told Pulse Nigeria that he believed these rumors originated from the roles he played.

He referred to such false beliefs about his private life off of the set as "the most ridiculous" thing he had ever come across about himself.

In contrast to these false impressions, he declared his emphatic rejection of domestic abuse and stated that he had a strong dislike for abuse in general.

During the interview, he claimed, "I have a soft spot that does not allow me to even tolerate domestic violence, let alone be associated with it as an abuser."

The renowned actor disclosed a different career path that he may have chosen if he hadn't been involved in the entertainment industry.

He stated that he intended to become a pastor.

It would have been more of a calling, therefore I don't think I can call it a career route. If I hadn't been an actor, I believe I would have been a priest," Okanlawon thought.
