According to the preliminary investigation gathered, the girlfriend of the suspects Sarpomaa Gladys who is a pregnant woman indicated that last week Johnny went to a farm where he took her mobile phone and in returning from the farm, Johnky complained of a call he received on Sarpomaa's phone and ask her but Sarpomaa failed to disclose the identity of the person who called and what exactly the one who called on her phone told he 'Johnky'.

A 36 year-old-man, Kwasi Nhyiraba popularly known as Johnky is on a run after mercilessly beating her two months old pregnant girlfriend at Besease in the Kwahu South Municipality of the Eastern Region.

According to the preliminary investigation gathered, the girlfriend of the suspects Sarpomaa Gladys who is a pregnant woman indicated that last week Johnny went to a farm where he took her mobile phone and in returning from the farm, Johnky complained of a call he received on Sarpomaa's phone and ask her but Sarpomaa failed to disclose the identity of the person who called and what exactly the one who called on her phone told he 'Johnky'.

Sarpomaa said, after a short argument between her and John, she later asked Johnky to escort her to buy food for supper but when both returned from the food vendor place, Johnky started raining insults on Sarpomaa and she questioned what she has done this time around and Johnny hit her with a touch light in his hands and started slapping her and beating her up.

Johnky who her girlfriend alleged is on drugs such as wee and tramadol has been her usual character of such incidence, but this has been the most severe one, according to her she has had a cut on her eyes, and her ears and can't hear well and is afraid of even the safety of the unborn

On his part, Nana Okyere Dartey, the Nkawkaw Werepehene who has been engaging Sarpomaa on errands said this has been the second time such an incident on her.

According to Nana Dartey, he urged her to go to the police and make an official complaint for further necessary action.
