Kasoa 'money ritual' killing: Late Ishmael to be buried today

The 10-year old boy who was murdered by two teens for 'money rituals' will be buried today, the family has said.

The burial of the boy who is a Muslim had been delayed due to investigations by the Police who indicated they could not hand the body over to the family until all the necessary investigations are done.

Spokesperson for the family, Samed speaking in an interview this morning on Accra based Adom FM said although they had not received the body from the police as at this morning, they are confident that the police will stay true to their word.

The Muslim family had planned a burial service for the deceased on April 6, 2021, but that did not come off.

Meanwhile, the two teenage killers of the 10-year old boy at Kasoa appeared before the court Tuesday, April 6, 2021.

The two Felix Nyarko, 16, and Nicholas Kini, 18 were charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder at the Ofankor District Court.

The two are to reappear before the court on April 20, 2021.
