He revealed this in an interview with Ghanaian entrepreneur and TV presenter, Akosua Dentaa Amoateng on the Dentaa Show. According to Sark, he coined the lyrics of the track to that particular time of his life and thought it as a life lesson to anyone going through toughness today.

Sarkodie- born Micheal Owusu Addo told Dentaa that he often derive most of the lines in his music from conversations he’s had with friends.

On the same show, Sarkodie clarified the misconception people have about his personality, which is grossly interpreted as arrogance claiming that his facial expression is the main reason why people think he’s conceited but he defined it as confidence rather than pride.
