Zinedine Zidane is determined to qualify to the final of the Champions League for the fourth time as manager of Real Madrid when his side honours the return leg against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Los Blancos on Tuesday played a 1-1 scoreline with Chelsea at the Estadio Alfredo di Stefano; Christian Pulisic opened the scores before Karim Benzema put the hosts’ level with a sublime effort.

Real Madrid lost Ramos, Valverde and Mendy to injury as majority of their players looked exhausted anytime the visitors initiated their attack failing to chase for a challenge.

With the Laliga trophy there for grabs following Atletico Madrid’s recent drop in form, Zidane is determined to deal with the programming of his squad against Osasuna on Saturday before they play Thomas Tuchel’s side next Wednesday.

"We are going to see. The minutes have to be managed because we have a game on Saturday and we have to be in good shape for the return leg. We are going to manage the players' minutes," Zidane made clear in his post-match press conference.

Sergio Ramos missed the clash with Liverpool in both legs of the competition through injury. The player was on the sidelines to support the team on Tuesday night and could be on the pitch in the return leg with Chelsea as his recuperation continues.

Asked whether the Real Madrid captain could be available, Zidane said "Hopefully he'll be with us, but he hasn't trained with the team yet and we don't know," Zidane stated.

"Hopefully he can be [back in time], but him and everyone else. And Ferland [Mendy], Fede [Valverde]... I want all my players with me."
