The Member of Parliament for Wenchi Constituency, Honorable Alhaji Haruna Seidu is reshaping several roads in the Wenchi Municipality of the Bono Region.

The Member of Parliament for Wenchi Constituency, Honorable Alhaji Haruna Seidu is reshaping several roads in the Wenchi Municipality of the Bono Region.

 The affected roads include Subinso II - Mansie road, Nchiraa - Botinso road, and Amponsakrom - Hiamakyini road.
According to him, he has budgeted GH¢ 50,000. 00  of his share of MP's common fund for the exercise.
The Lawmaker said rural roads contribute significantly by creating linkages, thus increasing the opportunities to access goods and services located in nearby villages, hence his gesture.
He also explained that “rural roads offer better transportation facilities and boasting agricultural activities and productivity to ensure diversification of agricultural activities by improving mobility and saving time”.
Honorable Alhaji Haruna Seidu added that the farming communities that are benefiting from the reshaping of roads would allow the farmers to convey their farm products to market centers, especially this cashew season.
Honorable Alhaji Haruna Seidu has also presented 30 pieces of dual desks to Nana Dukuuh R/C basic school in the Nchiraa electoral area in the same Constituency.
He said, “the donations come after ensuring the swift construction of the six-unit classroom block for the area”.
“ Let us continue to invest in the education of our next generation, for that is the only secured way to protect the future of the young ones”, he appealed whiles presenting the desks to the school authorities.
He indicated that he spent a total of GH¢ 36,000.00 on the dual desks from Ghana Educational Trust Fund ( GETFund) 

The lawmaker however disclosed that the Other selected schools in the Wenchi constituency that are yet to benefit from the dual desks include Nchiraa Boase R/C Basic School, Ayaayo M/A Basic School, Bepotirim M/A Basic School, Gyabaah Kura M/A Basic School Asuofiri M/A Basic School, and Bronoso M/A Basic School.
