We’ll Be Fixed When The Country Is Fixed - Stonebwoy

Stonebwoy is of the opinion that Ghana needs to be fixed by its leaders before Ghanaians can be fixed.

1 Gad maintained that those celebrities asking Ghanaians to fix themselves before asking for Ghanaian to be fixed have mixed up the order because the country has to be working properly before its citizens can work on themselves.

According to him, #FixYourself is not the counter to #FixTheCountry because activism has been part of Ghana’s history and has brought about a change in the lives of Ghanaians.

It is a must that Ghanaians demand the changes to terrible situations in the country regardless of how the citizens are because it is the job of the leaders to enact the changes and not the citizens.

“Just like everybody else supports it that Ghana needs to be fixed, my point is that it’s not like nothing has been done at all, but it has to be done,”

"That #FixYourself hashtag came about to oppose #FixTheCountry and I do not buy that idea. When the country is fixed, we shall all be fixed,”

Stonebowy made his thoughts known on Twitter.

Twitter has been a war ground for Ghanaians in the last months as some prominent Ghanaians have been calling for changes in the country while others, who seem to be on the side of the politicians have countered the call by saying Ghanaians need to change first.

This has led to two distinct camps, a #FicTheCountry movement and a #FixYourself.

Stonebwoy has now said that even though both are equally important, one comes before the other.
