The West African Examinations Council Nigeria, has stated that the timetable for the forthcoming West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination has been submitted to the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Demianus Ojijeogu, the Head of Public Affairs, WAEC Nigeria, revealed this on Tuesday.

 “It was released today (Tuesday) by the Head of Nigeria National Office of WAEC to the Federal Ministry of Education in Abuja. WAEC wishes to inform its stakeholders-schools, parents, and candidate that the final international timetable for the conduct of WASSCE, 2020 has been released,” he said.

He further noted that although several versions of the timetable had previously been in circulation, but members of the public will do well to disregard all and wait for the proper one that'll come from WAEC.

“The examination which has been slated to begin on Monday, August 17, 2020, will end on Saturday, September 12, 2020.

“The council hereby urges the candidates to abide by the rules and regulations guiding the conduct of the examination by shunning all acts of malpractice and obeying all Covid-19 protocols that have been put in place at the examination centers,” he concluded
