Shatta Wale was a Waste of my Youth - Shatta Michy

Shatta Michy has said that she feels the time she spent with Shatta Wale was a waste of her youth.

The ex-girlfriend of the dancehall artiste stated that she could have done more with herself instead of expending her time and energy to support Shatta Wale.

“I look so good without Shatta Wale because if I had been monitoring him the time I would [have] put in it wouldn’t have made me look this good because I have a lot to do.” She said while speaking on the United Showbiz show on UTV.

“When we make mistakes in life we must move from them and make conscious efforts not to go back to them. I don’t think being with him was a mistake because we were making history without making [much] effort,” 

“I wouldn’t say it was a mistake, but a waste of my youth. I’m 27 now; not a child anymore. It was difficult breaking up with him. Everything was supposed to happen, but I have learnt my lessons with men, friends and [I] appreciate the presence of my son in my life.”

Michy, who has a child from the relationship, explained that she had to ties with Shatta Wale after their break up because every time spent with him reminded her of the ordeal she endured under the roof of the music icon.

According to her, she is not sure if Shatta awake ever loved her or he just proposed to her for showbiz.

“If it was for showbiz, I would have appreciated being told so I can make the thing ‘gya’ [hyped it] but not being taken for a fool in front of a lot of people,” Shatta Michy.

The doubts came from how bad the relationship was after the proposal, and then after it went totally soar, other people got information that they spewed out,”

“I want people to accept me for me, not tag me to that brand even though I have been a part of the story. I just want to be known for me, it is like owning my brand. I have been a part of the story, building the empire”

She concluded by addressing Aisha Modi's claim that she was involved in a threesome with Shatta Wale and Hajia4Real.

Sometimes you don’t have to speak. God has a way of making people confess their sins. Was she in the midst of the threesome? Did she join to make it a foursome? She wasn’t a witness to anything. She was talking based on some rumours she heard elsewhere."

"Sometimes the things I hear or see online about myself amaze me. For her to have so much courage to talk about something sensitive while she didn’t even witness it is sad. What did I do wrong?”

“Me personally, I don’t know the woman and I’ve never met her anywhere. So I was very shocked by the way she was mentioning my name as if she knew me. I was really surprised."

"And I’m sure Shatta wasn’t too happy about all she had to say about him and Shatta is quick-tempered. So at that point, he was so mad.” She said.
