Many feared dead in gory accident at Akumadan
The incident happened in the late hours of Sunday

A fatal vehicle collision on the Kumasi-Akumadan road has left at least one person burnt to death and several others severely injured.
The incident which reportedly happened Sunday night, involved a Sangyong mini bus and an SUV.
The mini bus is alleged to have made a wrong overtaking, which led to the crash.
One person in the SUV; an expatriate could not be pulled out and looked lifeless while others had been pulled out with various degrees of injuries.

The Sangyong minibus burst into flames shortly after the collision and exploded several times while family members cried for their relatives who were feared to still be in the burning vehicle.
Cars from the Techiman and Kumasi sides were forced to park as it was too dangerous to cross over due to the angry flames.
