Help restore Appiatse with communal labour - Jinapor to Appiatse residence 

The sector Minister for land and Natural resources Honourable Samuel Abu Jinapour has appealed to the victims of the disaster to help restore Appiatse with communal labor.

Mr. Abu Jinapour said as part of the government's commitment to rebuilding Appiatse, it has constituted the Appiatse reconstruction implementation committee to FastTrack processes.

He urged the locals to also contribute in this regard with their Kanpur as part of the process to reconstruct the community.

The Minister made this appeal on a day’s working visit to Appiatse relief camp to engage the community to brief them on the process being undertaken by governments to reconstruct the Appiatse community. 

Mr. Abu Jinapour further disclosed governments have come to terms with FGR to roof their 78 resettlement households as temporary structures to house these victims to save them from bad weather conditions during raining season.

The Minister, Samuel Abu Jinapour briefing the gathering said the reconstruction of the Appiatse will be familiar with the residents for day-to-day activities to take part in the community.

Unlike most Ghanaian communities which lack amenities, the minister revealed the reconstruction of Appiatse will be a model Ghanaian village.
