Breaking news: Missing Forest guard from Sunyani found leg tied and hancoffed at Nkawkaw refuse dump
Narrating his ordeal to this reporter Vitus Yourdong 31, said he was captured by some alleged illegal chain saw operators in the Asukesse forest reserve in Sunyani during an operation, after he excused his colleagues to attend to nature on 2nd of July, 2023 where he was kept, assaulted severally and manhandled.

A Sunyani based forestry commission guard, with the leopard unit of the Asukese forest reserve who got missing some three weeks ago has been found legs tied and hancoffed near Nkawkaw Asona refuse dump area by a Zoomloin bin truck driver and his mate at early hours of today.

Hewas dumped at Nkawkaw Asona refuse dump area unconsiouslly at early hours of today.
Saza Agbotiyao, the Zoomlion bin truck driver also told our reporter how he encountered the victim.
The District forest manager for Mpraeso, Mr. Nii Amoh who visited the Nkawkaw Central Police station to ascertain the situation also briefed our reporter on the issue.
The victim has since been released of the hancoff upon the instructions of Eastern Regional Police Command and has since been sent to the Nkawkaw Holy Family Hospital for medical attention.
