The Greater Accra Regional Second Vice Chairperson of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), who is currently aspiring for the First GRA NPP Chairperson position, Joana Frances Adda, has sent a strong goodwill message to all incumbents seeking re-election, as well as, those contesting various leadership positions in the polling station, electoral area and constituency elections of the NPP.
Consequently, the NPP beautiful lady stressed the need for all members and supporters of the NPP to own the concept of the electronic levy.
The electronic-levy is a new tax measure introduced by the government in the 2022 Budget on basic transactions related to digital payments and electronic platform transactions, which includes financial technologies platform (FINTECH), E-Banking, or Online banking, and Mobile Money Payment gateways and platforms.
The new electronic levy of 1.75 percent will be applied to transactions that are more than GH¢100.00 daily (24 hours).
However, Madam Joana Frances added that the E-Levy is the game-changer and that the supporters of the NPP should embrace the concept since it is good for the Ghanaian economy.

According to him, there can’t be any other opportunity that can continuously replenish our consolidated fund as well as support a viable process of public debt reduction.
"We, in NPP, have no choice but to own this E-L-levy concept to inspire other Ghanaians to OWN it too. To all incumbents seeking re-election, as well as, those contesting various leadership positions in the Polling Station, Electoral Area, and Constituency Elections for the first time, I share in your continued commitment to party work.
"I use this opportunity to wish you well and say, I can’t wait to start working with you, as always. Having had a very cordial working relationship and support from you incumbents for which I am grateful, I am hopeful that this would continue," she stressed.
According to her, breaking the 8 is a shared responsibility and with God’s abundant grace upon us, let’s hit the ground running when we are voted into office again.
She emphasized that "Let’s not lose hope as I am very optimistic Party and Government will get closer and address the concerns of its support base and Ghanaians as a whole.   However, It takes money to achieve this.
E-levy is the game-changer. There can’t be any other opportunity that can continuously replenish our consolidated fund as well as support a viable process of public debt reduction.
