Refund and Payment Policy

SOIREENEWS JOB BOARD REFUND AND PAYMENT POLICY

Effective Date 08/01/2026 This Refund and Payment Policy is effective as of 08/01/2026. It governs payments, subscriptions, account credits, cancellations, billing disputes, refunds, and other financial transactions associated with the Soireenews Job Board website, applications, employer services, recruitment tools, advertising products, and related services.

About This Policy. The Soireenews Job Board is operated by [Insert Legal Business Name]. References to “Soireenews Job Board,” “Soireenews,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean [Insert Legal Business Name] and its authorized payment and service providers. References to “you,” “customer,” or “user” include employers, recruiters, staffing agencies, advertisers, job seekers, organizations, and other persons who purchase or use paid services.

Acceptance of This Policy. By purchasing, ordering, activating, renewing, or using a paid Soireenews service, you confirm that you have read and agreed to this Refund and Payment Policy, the Terms of Use, and any additional terms displayed during checkout. You must not complete a purchase unless you understand the price, service period, renewal terms, refund conditions, and other material details associated with the service.

Services Covered. This Policy may apply to individual job postings, employer subscriptions, recruitment packages, featured listings, sponsored positions, résumé-search access, candidate-contact tools, advertising services, promotional placements, verification services, account upgrades, digital credits, and other paid products offered through the Soireenews Job Board. Additional terms may apply to a particular service and will be presented before purchase or included in an applicable order form.

Job-Seeker Access. Basic job searching and application services may be provided to job seekers without charge unless a paid feature is clearly identified before activation. Soireenews does not authorize employers, recruiters, or other users to collect payments from job seekers on our behalf unless the arrangement is expressly approved and clearly disclosed. A request for payment from a recruiter should not be treated as a charge imposed by Soireenews unless it appears on an official Soireenews checkout page or invoice.

Prices. The price of each service will be displayed on the platform, checkout page, invoice, proposal, or order form before payment is completed. Prices may vary according to the type of service, number of postings, duration, visibility, geographic market, subscription level, promotional offer, account status, or other commercial factors. Soireenews may change its prices at any time, but a change will not normally alter a completed one-time purchase or a prepaid service already activated.

Currency. Payments will be processed in the currency displayed during checkout. If your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or digital wallet converts the transaction into another currency, it may apply its own exchange rate and conversion fee. Soireenews is not responsible for currency-conversion charges imposed by a third-party financial institution.

Taxes and Government Charges. Displayed prices may not include sales tax, value-added tax, goods and services tax, withholding tax, digital-service tax, or other governmental charges unless expressly stated. You are responsible for taxes legally associated with your purchase, except taxes imposed directly on Soireenews income. We may calculate and collect applicable taxes based on your billing information, business location, payment method, or other legally relevant information.

Tax Information. Business customers must provide accurate billing, tax-registration, exemption, and identification information when requested. A claimed exemption may be rejected when the required documentation is incomplete, expired, invalid, or inconsistent with applicable law. Tax adjustments or refunds will be provided only when legally required or when Soireenews determines that a documented billing error occurred.

Accepted Payment Methods. Soireenews may accept credit cards, debit cards, digital wallets, electronic bank transfers, mobile payments, account credits, or other approved payment methods. Available options may differ by country, currency, product, device, and transaction value. We may add, remove, restrict, or replace a payment method when necessary for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or operational reasons.

Payment Authorization. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. You authorize Soireenews and its payment processor to charge the total amount displayed at checkout, including applicable taxes, approved recurring charges, and any other amounts you expressly accept. Providing false, stolen, unauthorized, or misleading payment information is prohibited.

Payment Processors. Payments may be processed by independent banks, card networks, payment gateways, wallet providers, or financial-service companies. These providers may collect and process payment information under their own terms and privacy policies. Soireenews may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, billing details, limited card information, fraud indicators, and other information necessary to manage the transaction, but complete payment-card information may be handled directly by the payment processor.

Payment Confirmation. A payment is not final until it has been authorized and confirmed by the applicable payment provider. Submission of an order does not guarantee acceptance. Soireenews may refuse, cancel, delay, or review a transaction when payment authorization fails, information appears inaccurate, fraud is suspected, a service is unavailable, or the transaction may violate platform rules or applicable law.

Invoices and Receipts. After a successful payment, Soireenews may provide an electronic receipt, invoice, account record, or payment confirmation. You are responsible for reviewing transaction details and promptly reporting errors. Business customers should retain copies of invoices and receipts for accounting, tax, reimbursement, and recordkeeping purposes.

Payment Due Dates. Payments for online purchases are generally due at the time the order is placed. Services provided under a separate written agreement may be invoiced according to the payment schedule stated in that agreement. Failure to pay an invoice by its due date may result in suspension, cancellation, delayed publication, removal of listings, loss of promotional placement, or restriction of account services.

Failed Payments. If a payment is declined, reversed, rejected, expired, or otherwise unsuccessful, Soireenews may retry the payment method where legally permitted and previously authorized. We may ask you to update your billing information or provide another approved payment method. Access to the affected paid service may be suspended until the outstanding amount is paid.

Pending Authorizations. A bank or payment provider may temporarily place a pending authorization or hold on your account before a payment is completed. A pending authorization is not always a completed charge. The timing for releasing an authorization hold is controlled primarily by the relevant bank or payment provider, and Soireenews cannot guarantee when the funds will become available.

Duplicate Charges. If you believe you were charged more than once for the same transaction, contact us at [Insert Billing Email] and provide the relevant invoice number, transaction date, amount, account email, and available payment evidence. Confirmed duplicate charges will be reversed or refunded to the original payment method unless another method is legally required.

One-Time Job Postings. A one-time job-posting fee purchases the right to publish one listing for the duration and under the conditions shown at checkout. The service is considered to have begun when the posting is submitted for review, published, scheduled, activated, or otherwise processed by Soireenews. The fee does not guarantee a specific number of views, applications, interviews, qualified candidates, hires, or employment outcomes.

Job-Posting Packages. A package containing multiple job postings may be subject to an activation period, expiration date, usage limit, or account restriction disclosed at purchase. Unused postings may expire at the end of the stated validity period. Unless otherwise stated or required by law, expired or unused package benefits are not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred to another user.

Featured and Sponsored Listings. Fees for featured, highlighted, urgent, sponsored, or promoted listings purchase enhanced placement or visibility for the period described during checkout. Enhanced placement does not guarantee that a listing will remain in a particular position at all times, receive a particular number of impressions, or produce applications or hires. A refund will not be issued merely because the promotional service did not generate the customer’s preferred result.

Advertising Services. Advertising payments may cover impressions, clicks, placement periods, campaign management, sponsored content, banners, employer branding, or other promotional services. Advertising services may be governed by an approved campaign order, insertion order, advertising agreement, or stated platform terms. Once an advertising campaign begins, amounts attributable to services already delivered are normally nonrefundable.

Résumé and Candidate-Database Access. Fees for résumé searches, candidate-profile access, contact credits, or recruitment-database tools purchase limited access according to the selected plan. A credit may be treated as used once candidate information is revealed, downloaded, exported, unlocked, contacted, or otherwise accessed. Used candidate-access credits are not refundable merely because the candidate does not respond, declines an opportunity, has accepted another position, or is later determined to be unsuitable.

Account Credits. Soireenews may issue promotional, purchased, or service-related account credits. Credits have no cash value unless applicable law requires otherwise. Credits may be limited to specific services, accounts, currencies, or expiration dates and may not be sold, transferred, withdrawn, or exchanged without written authorization.

Promotional Credits. Complimentary or promotional credits may expire according to the terms of the promotion. They may be canceled if obtained through fraud, multiple accounts, manipulation, or violation of promotional conditions. When a purchase contains both paid and promotional credits, any approved refund will generally apply only to the amount actually paid.

Subscription Services. Some employer, recruiter, advertising, or premium services may be sold as monthly, quarterly, annual, or otherwise recurring subscriptions. The price, billing frequency, included features, service period, and renewal arrangement will be disclosed before enrollment. By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorize Soireenews to charge the selected payment method at the stated intervals until the subscription is canceled.

Automatic Renewal. A subscription identified as automatically renewing will renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date. The renewal charge may be based on the price disclosed when you subscribed or a subsequently announced price that becomes effective for a future billing cycle. Soireenews will provide any notice of renewal or price change required by applicable law.

Subscription Cancellation. You may cancel an automatically renewing subscription through the account settings, billing portal, or another cancellation method made available by Soireenews. A cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not normally reverse a charge already processed for the current billing period. Unless otherwise stated, paid access continues until the end of the current subscription period.

Timing of Cancellation. A cancellation request must be completed before the next scheduled renewal charge to prevent renewal. Requests submitted after a payment has been processed may take effect at the end of the newly started billing period. Users should retain the cancellation confirmation as proof that the request was completed.

Free Trials. Soireenews may offer free or reduced-price trials for certain subscription services. Trial terms will identify the trial period, features included, payment requirements, and whether the trial converts automatically into a paid subscription. When automatic conversion is disclosed and authorized, the selected payment method may be charged at the end of the trial unless the subscription is canceled before the stated deadline.

Promotional Pricing. Introductory prices, coupons, discounts, and promotional rates may apply only to the stated purchase, customer, account, territory, or service period. Unless the promotion expressly states otherwise, a subscription may renew at the standard price after the promotional period ends. Promotions cannot be combined, exchanged for cash, applied retroactively, or transferred to another account without authorization.

Price Changes for Subscriptions. Soireenews may change subscription prices for future billing periods. Where required, affected customers will receive advance notice and an opportunity to cancel before the new price is charged. Continued use of the subscription after the effective date of the price change constitutes acceptance when permitted by law.

General Refund Standard. Except where this Policy, a written agreement, a specific offer, or applicable law provides otherwise, completed payments are nonrefundable after the purchased service has been activated, published, delivered, accessed, used, or made available. This rule reflects the digital and time-sensitive nature of job postings, recruitment tools, advertisements, and promotional placements.

Refunds Before Service Activation. A customer may request cancellation and a refund before the service has been activated, published, reviewed, scheduled, or otherwise processed. Approval will depend on the service, transaction status, administrative work completed, and applicable law. Soireenews may deduct nonrecoverable transaction fees or documented administrative costs where permitted and disclosed.

Refunds for Technical Failure. A refund, replacement service, credit, or extension may be provided when a paid service could not be delivered because of a confirmed technical failure within Soireenews’ reasonable control. Before issuing a refund, Soireenews may attempt to restore access, republish the listing, extend the service period, replace the affected credit, or provide a comparable remedy.

Platform Cancellation. If Soireenews cancels a paid service for reasons unrelated to the customer’s misconduct, we may provide a proportional refund, account credit, replacement service, or other appropriate remedy for the unused portion. The remedy will depend on the service, amount delivered, cause of cancellation, contractual terms, and applicable law.

Policy-Violation Cancellations. No refund is ordinarily available when a listing, advertisement, account, or service is rejected, suspended, removed, or terminated because the customer submitted fraudulent, misleading, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, unsafe, or prohibited content. The same rule may apply when a user misuses applicant information, impersonates another organization, violates recruitment laws, attempts to evade enforcement, or breaches the Terms of Use.

Employer Hiring Results. Payments are made for access to platform services and not for guaranteed hiring results. A lack of applications, low application volume, unsuitable candidates, unanswered messages, unsuccessful interviews, rejected offers, or failure to hire does not by itself create a right to a refund.

Early Removal by the Customer. Removing a job listing, closing a vacancy, pausing a campaign, or ending recruitment before the purchased service period expires does not automatically qualify the customer for a refund. The customer remains responsible for the original fee because the service capacity and publication period were reserved and made available.

Filled Positions. No refund is normally available because a position was filled sooner than expected, filled through another source, canceled internally, affected by a hiring freeze, or no longer required. Soireenews may allow the remaining posting period or unused credit to be applied to another eligible vacancy when such a feature is expressly offered.

Incorrect Information Submitted by the Customer. Customers are responsible for reviewing job descriptions, company details, billing information, targeting settings, campaign dates, and purchased features before submission. A refund is not guaranteed when the service was delivered according to information supplied by the customer. Soireenews may permit reasonable corrections that do not materially change the purchased service.

Accidental Purchases. An accidental purchase should be reported immediately and before the service is used. Soireenews will review the account activity, transaction timing, service status, and surrounding circumstances. A request may be denied when the service has already been activated, published, consumed, downloaded, or substantially delivered.

Unauthorized Transactions. If you believe a payment was made without your authorization, contact Soireenews promptly at [Insert Billing or Fraud Email]. We may temporarily restrict the account, review transaction records, request verification, and cooperate with the payment provider. You should also notify your bank, card issuer, or payment provider within any deadline that applies to the transaction.

Billing Disputes. Customers should submit billing disputes to Soireenews before initiating a chargeback when practical, so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue. This request does not limit any non-waivable right to contact a financial institution or payment provider. A dispute should include the account email, transaction date, amount, invoice or order number, description of the problem, and supporting documentation.

Chargebacks. A chargeback filed without a valid basis may result in suspension of the affected account, cancellation of services, recovery of unpaid amounts, or restriction of future payment methods. Soireenews may provide transaction records, service logs, account activity, acceptance records, and communications to the financial institution reviewing the dispute. We will not penalize a customer for exercising a lawful payment-dispute right in good faith.

Refund Request Period. Unless a different deadline is displayed for a particular service or required by law, refund requests should be submitted within [Insert Number] calendar days after the disputed charge or service failure. Requests submitted after that period may be denied, particularly when transaction records or service evidence are no longer reasonably available.

How to Request a Refund. Refund requests must be sent to [Insert Billing Email] or submitted through [Insert Billing Support Link]. The request should state the customer’s name, account email, business name, invoice number, transaction date, amount paid, service purchased, reason for the request, and requested resolution. Additional information may be required to verify the account and investigate the transaction.

Refund Review. Soireenews will review refund requests individually based on the purchased service, applicable offer, account history, service usage, technical records, payment status, reason for cancellation, and applicable law. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval. We may offer a service extension, replacement posting, correction, account credit, or other reasonable remedy instead of a cash refund when appropriate.

Approved Refunds. An approved refund will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method. If the original method is unavailable, expired, restricted, or legally unsuitable, Soireenews may use another lawful method after verifying the customer’s identity. Refunds cannot normally be redirected to an unrelated person, account, card, wallet, or bank account.

Refund Processing Time. Soireenews may approve and initiate a refund within [Insert Number] business days after completing its review. The customer’s bank, card issuer, wallet provider, or payment processor may require additional time to post the funds. Soireenews does not control the final processing time after a refund has been transmitted to the financial provider.

Partial Refunds. When only part of a service remains unused or only part of a transaction was affected, Soireenews may issue a proportional refund or credit rather than returning the entire purchase amount. Calculations may consider publication days used, advertising delivered, credits consumed, candidates accessed, administrative work completed, discounts applied, and nonrecoverable costs.

Refunds for Bundled Services. If a purchase includes several products or services, the refund value of an individual component may be based on its allocated or standard price rather than an equal division of the bundle price. Discounts connected to the bundle may be recalculated if a partial refund is approved.

Nonrefundable Charges. To the extent permitted by law, nonrefundable amounts may include services already delivered, used résumé credits, completed verification services, activated promotional placements, consumed advertising, customization work, setup charges, administrative work, expired packages, currency-conversion fees, bank fees, payment-processor charges, and taxes already remitted to governmental authorities.

Mandatory Legal Rights. Nothing in this Policy eliminates a refund, cancellation, withdrawal, warranty, billing-dispute, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived. Where local law provides stronger protections than this Policy, the applicable mandatory legal requirement will control.

International Transactions. Customers purchasing services from outside the country where Soireenews operates are responsible for understanding local tax, payment, currency, and business requirements. International refunds may be affected by exchange-rate changes, intermediary bank charges, local payment restrictions, and processing limitations. The refunded amount in a customer’s local currency may differ from the original local-currency amount because of exchange-rate movements or third-party charges.

Business Customers. Employer, recruiter, staffing-agency, and advertising purchases are generally treated as business transactions where permitted by law. Consumer rights that apply only to personal or household purchases may not apply to a service purchased primarily for recruitment, advertising, commercial, or professional purposes. Mandatory rights applicable to a particular purchaser remain unaffected.

Custom Agreements. Enterprise accounts, agencies, advertisers, or large employers may enter into a separate written agreement with Soireenews. If that agreement contains payment, cancellation, credit, renewal, or refund terms that conflict with this general Policy, the signed agreement will control for the services covered by it.

Account Suspension for Outstanding Balances. Soireenews may suspend paid features, remove promotional placement, prevent new purchases, restrict account access, or refer an unpaid balance for lawful collection when a customer fails to pay an amount due. Suspension does not eliminate the obligation to pay for services already delivered.

Credits After Account Closure. Unused account credits may expire or be canceled when an account is voluntarily closed or terminated for violation of platform rules. Purchased credits will be handled according to the terms presented at purchase and any applicable law. Promotional credits are not refundable after account closure.

Fraud Prevention. Soireenews may delay a payment, refund, withdrawal, or account-credit transfer while investigating suspected fraud, identity theft, unauthorized access, account takeover, money laundering, payment manipulation, or other unlawful activity. We may request identification, business records, payment evidence, or account verification before completing a financial transaction.

Errors and Corrections. Soireenews may correct pricing errors, billing mistakes, duplicate credits, inaccurate discounts, or technical errors affecting a transaction. If an incorrect price is displayed before a service is delivered, we may cancel the order and provide a refund or offer the customer the opportunity to purchase at the correct price.

Changes to This Policy. Soireenews may revise this Refund and Payment Policy to reflect changes in services, payment methods, prices, legal requirements, or business practices. Updated terms will apply from the effective date shown in the revised Policy. Material changes affecting an existing recurring subscription will be communicated where required by law.

Relationship to Other Policies. This Refund and Payment Policy forms part of the Soireenews Job Board Terms of Use. It should be read together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Employer Policy, Advertising Policy, Job-Posting Standards, and any service-specific agreement. If a service-specific payment term conflicts with this general Policy, the more specific term will control for that service.

Contact Information. Questions, payment concerns, cancellation requests, and refund applications may be directed to 8510 Krista Lane, Fort Worth, TX 76120, by email at [email protected], or through [email protected]. Reports concerning unauthorized transactions or suspected financial fraud should be submitted to [email protected].

Acknowledgment. By purchasing or using a paid service offered by the Soireenews Job Board, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the applicable price, service description, billing period, renewal arrangement, cancellation method, and refund conditions. You also acknowledge that payment for a job posting, recruitment tool, advertising service, or promotional feature does not guarantee applications, interviews, candidates, employment offers, completed hires, advertising results, or other commercial outcomes.
