The Overlord of Asanteman, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has commended Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo for his good works in the Ashanti Region, revealing that the President of Ghana is successful in his first term because he regarded his advise.

He, therefore, assured that Asante, indeed remembers.

Per the words of Asantehene, the leader of the incumbent government has heeded to his every advice since he sought counselling on the how’s and when of decision implementation for Ghana’s development. He addressed that every work he has put up will go down in history and he will forever be recalled anytime there is a character reference at Manhyia.

“When he was in pursuit for power, he came to me for assistance from God and the golden stool,” Otumfuo Osei Tutu II said.

“After he won the elections, he was here again and I advised him to help move Ghana forward for a man of his age needs not money because he has already acquired wealth.

“He is very optimistic today because he took my advice and his good works have overshadowed him. Asante indeed remembers and I believe it will go down in the history of Asanteman. I will never forget to pray for you always. Your mother, Nana Yeboah Akua once told you that this is where you belong and you have never forgotten. You pay me regular visits and call me on phone sometimes for advice,” he praised.

According to Asantehene, although himself as a King of Asanteman and chiefs are prevented from taking an active part in politics yet since they have rights to decide in December, he is very firm that the best decision will be made. He guaranteed Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo that he is a part of his prayers and strongly called to invest much in the Information Ministry to communicate his good works to the people far and near, a strategy he believes will give him the second term he asks for.

“We (Himself and Chiefs) are forbidden as Nananom to partake in active politics yet we have rights to decide on the day (election). We are very wise and will make good decisions based on what you have done. You are a part of my prayers and my advice is that, let your communication team effectively spread the message of your works. WE IN Kumasi have not been in Tamale nor Tumu, it is their responsibility to preach your works and that will give you what you desire.”
