Sammy Forson has condemned Yaw Yog for his recent comments about bringing U.K's Stormzy to Ghana.

In an interview with Mz Gee on the NewDay Show, Yaw Tog boldly stated that the UK rapper would not be popular in Ghana if not for his 'Sore' remix collaboration with him.

He mentioned that the collaboration benefitted both artists because he had as much impact on the British rapper's career that Stormzy had on his.

“He made me more popular in this market. And I made him more popular here too. Because people didn’t know Stormzy in Ghana. So, I think we both did magic to ourselves. Magic to our brands.”

Sammy Forson is of the opinion that Yaw Tog is a proud and ungrateful child.

According to the media personality, Yaw Tog should not presume that no one knew Stormzy in Ghana before because the U.K. artist was popular way before the 'Sore' remix.

He noted that unfortunate comments like the one Yaw Tog has made shows the level of negative mentality that Ghanaian artists have.

This he noted, is what causes the selfish behaviour that most of the artists in Ghana have with their inflated sense of entitlement.

Sammy Forson expressed his disappointment that someone so young and new to the music scene is already making comments that do not make any sense.

"Yaw Tog’s comments about making Stomzy popular in GH are the kind that unfortunately encourage selfish behaviour in the industry.. If u know what it takes to be a mainstream artist in the UK and playlisted into other parts of Europe, u won’t lose talk.. Smh.. Focus on ur music" he chastised.

Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr., known as Stormzy, is a British rapper born and raised by his Ghanaian parents in London, UK. In 2019, Stormzy achieved his first UK number-one single with “Vossi Bop”.

Stormzy became popular when his “Shut Up”, which was initially released as a freestyle on YouTube, became popular and peaked at number eight on the UK Singles Chart.
