World Health Organization confirms fresh outbreak of Ebola virus
Eight people with suspected symptoms are reportedly seeking medical attention, and staff is being dispatched to the region in question.

An Ebola outbreak has been verified in central Uganda with the death of a 24-year-old infected male.
According to the health minister, the victim showed signs of the illness before passing away.
He was a local of Ngabano village in Mubende district, which is around 147 kilometers (91 miles) from Kampala, the country's capital.
The Uganda Virus Research Institute has confirmed a case of the very uncommon Sudan strain, according to a statement from the World Health Organization (WHO).

The last breakout of the strain in the nation of East Africa was recorded in 2012.
“Thanks to its [Uganda] expertise, action has been taken too quickly to detect the virus and we can bank on this knowledge to halt the spread of infections," said Dr. Matshidiso Moeti - WHO regional director for Africa.
