The victim was stabbed at the right side of her neck by her attackers after robbing her of her personal belongings.

A woman has been reportedly knifed to death near the Seventh Day Adventist Church Thursday morning sparking fears among residents of Ampabame, a suburb of Kumasi.

The victim, only identified as Ataah, aged 50, was on her way to work just before 6 am when she was attacked by her assailants.

As contained in a report of by Dailymailgh, officers from the Bohyen Police Station rushed to scene to find the body of the deceased lying in a supine position in a pool of blood.

She wore a multi-coloured shirt, a white shorts and a necklace.

The victim is said to have been stabbed at the right side of her neck by her attackers after robbing her of her personal belongings.

Her body has since been conveyed and deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue for preservation.

Investigations have started, officers at the Bohyen Police Station told dailymailgh.

The late Ataah was a fish monger at the Kumasi Central Market until she met her untimely death.
