A 65-year-old woman widow who sells charcoal at Yawhima in the Sunyani East District, Madam Elizabeth Mensah, has expressed her deepest gratitude to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Union Group of Companies, Dr. Augustine Opoku Agyemang for donating five thousand Ghana cedis (GH¢ 5,000) to support her charcoal sale business.
According to an old woman, he has not expected thatDr Opoku Agyemang would demonstrate his good statesmaship to offer her free loan facility to improve on her business.
 
"I wish and pray to almighty God to continue to protect the life of Dr Opoku Agyemang and his family members to grow long on this earth to continue to support humanity," Madam Mensah noted.
In an exclusive interview Sorireenews.com, Dr Opoku Agyemang said he was touched to help the old woman when she approached the Union to secured the loan facility to improve on her charcoal sale business.
He pointed out that his slogan is changing lives and transforming the world that that that encourages him to support the needy.
He indicated that when he went for visitation in one of his branch companies in Sunyani where he saw the woman, Madam Elizabeth Mensah at his work premises that is Union FM in Sunyani and ask of her mission.
 
The woman said she is in need of loan facility to the tune of GH¢ 5,000 to sell charcoal at her community.
"Having gone round to see her properties and other things, l have decided to give out the money she requested as loan for free to support this charcoal business,' the man affirmed.

"A lot of people who are wealthy in Ghana but they can't support their mothers.not anyone who can come for help even if you are a disabled and begs in the street there is no help for you but been disabled and hard working he can support you," he said.
