Why Are Ladies Half Naked Dressed In Music Videos Whilst The Men Are Fully Covered?Mark Okraku Mantey Questions

Mark Okraku Mantey, a pioneer in the Ghana Music industry has condemned Ghanaian Artistes decision for making ladies go half naked in the music videos whilst the men are fully clothed.

According to Mark, he doesn’t see it right with how the ladies dress in music videos with the men completely enclosed. The President of the Creative Arts Council deem it a more matured way for Ghanaian artiste to reveal their culture in  videos than showing off their nudes..

"In most of our videos, you will see the woman half naked and the man fully dressed. It sends a signal that the men are covering themselves and making the women be girls, and it’s not cool. 

Mark cited an instance with Sarkodie's Lucky video that he (Sarkodie) was fully dressed but the ladies were in Bikinis; a indication of total neglect of the Ghanaian culture. He called for the need to check how young people consume sexual content in Ghana of late.

Sarkodie’s Lucky video, for example, Sarkodie was full dressed-all white but the ladies in Bikini exposing their parts, why?.
We must build our culture. We need to have a system that checks how young people consume sexual content”.
