What if Ghana accepts LGBTQI?

The people calling for the abolishment of the LGBTQI today are the same who will vote against the New Patriotic Party government when the going gets tough and their political promises denied.

What if Ghana accepts LGBTQI?
LGBTQI community

A beggar they say has no choice and that is the situation of African counties at the moment on the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersexual (LGBTQI) status. Independent in status but not in action, African countries have denounced every good tiding they possess in a form of raw materials to becoming slaves to western culture in the name of seeking assistance and counselling.

Embracing the Western culture is no wrong yet there are odds that should not taint our way of life, and the laws of the land not tampered with regardless of one’s nationality and status.

When Donald Trump’s crucifixion led to Joe Biden’s appointment as the President of America, this was what every follower of American politics expected; the Will of the people executed and its rottenness was not just aimed at Americans but African countries who will suffer loss at the consequences of these actions.

American and European culture has been the mirror of African recently, with our way of life becoming their reflection. Talk of language, the food we eat, dressing, the profession we chose, education and many others is an inherited attribute from the Western world including the worse. That means if the destructive is employed, the sons of Africa will suffer.

In a world where technology is dominant, making it hard for boundaries to be determined, the world is now developing into one empire with different leadership, yet the African leaders are being dictated to fulfil the mandate of the superiors in their countries – Ghana is a victim and for all this while, we have succumbed to every ideology of the Westerners, with their aid a key component in developing the country.

When Joe Biden spoke of restraining foreign assistance to anti-LGBTQI nations during his campaign at the second major presidential forum dedicated to LGBTQ, he meant it and the message to direct to African leaders who were raised and bred in religious ways.

The United States is the largest contributor of military aid to foreign countries in the world, providing some form of assistance to over 150 countries each year to support global peace, security, and development efforts, and provide humanitarian relief during times of crisis. Ghana every year receives millions of dollars from US aids and its impact on national development is huge.

The borgenproject reported on April 16, 2013, that The United States gives an annual $430 million to Ghana, a country with great potential for growth, especially in the energy sector and some of the main programs that receive U.S. funding in Ghana focus on treating TB, HIV/AIDS, and malaria - infrastructures aside.

Although President Akufo-Addo's Ghana beyond aid receive lots of applause from citizens yet his statement seems not strong enough considering the amount of money from western aids and what they are used for

If Ghana halts these financial assistances, the question is where will the monies be garnered for the development of the countries? It leaves politicians no option but to succumb to the orders of the Western authorities to impress their citizens for a vote.

The New Patriotic Party wants to keep ruling and controlling and so is the National Democratic Congress who wants to switch from opposition. The one thing to win the interest of the constituents is their will appreciated through good roads, schools, water, food, and wellbeing. Failure for any government to abide by these will lead to their exit, therefore to impress, foreign aids are encouraged and once the monies are acquired, the rules must be exercised.

That is what the rule stands for and no other. If Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo refuses to accept the LGBTQI, indirectly, he is denying his people good roads and infrastructures and when the people are not satisfied, the NPP has to be voted out for the NDC to rule through the same means.

The people calling for the abolishment of the LGBTQI today are the same who will vote against the government when the going gets tough and their political promises denied. If they knew what brings comfort to African nations especially Ghana, the concerns wouldn’t be raised.

Everyone was seeking covid-19 vaccines for protection in such a hard-hitting time. Has anyone enquired where government get money to purchase the vaccines and how much it could cost?

The Christian Council and the Pentecostal and Charismatic Council are quick to call for the closure of offices for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Rights of Ghana with the view that the action by the LGBTQI movement as an affront to the long-cherished Religious values, customs, and traditions as well as the laws of Ghana.

The call is not the problem, but the action of these religious institutions towards National Development is.

Ghana government will be forced to accept this corrupt practices emanated from ill principles of World Leaders who are married to Satan for one reason – National development.

The question is, what contribution has the Christian and the Pentecostal and Charismatic Council together with other religious bodies done to uphold the integrity of Ghana in terms of development. The excuse they always give is praying for the country forgetting that devotion to God must follow action to fellow neighbours.

When God through Apostle told men to submit themselves under governing authorities (Roman 13:1), was it just about obedience only? No. Submission is about yielding support, that is being productive towards national development for the well being of others. That means the construction of good drinking water, roads, schools, creating jobs are all part of one's submission to another because it is a problem solver.

The country has been taken by storm by fake prophets and preachers making millions of cedis and dollars from ignorant congregations and yet the religious bodies were idle watching innocent souls brainwashed all in the name of salvation.

Where do those extracted monies go? They pay no tax, they construct no roads and yet they go about riding in cars and buying television stations all in the name of preaching messages of fear to frustrate the congregation to steal from them. Where are the laws to cross-check these people? The Pentecost Convention Center should have been an achievement of the Council and teamwork of the religious bodies in Ghana to contain coronavirus victims.

Had it not been for the help of the Church of Pentecost, things would have been worse because everybody is looking up to the government for everything in Ghana and we fail to ask where the money comes from.

The government will not listen to their pleas and any action taken by the President of the LGBTQI is just a showcase towards the people that he cares about religion and respect the culture of the people but when the aids stop and election loom and criticisms begin to hit politicians, they will have no option than to accept the decision of LGBTQI installation.

Ghanaians were on a time bomb and its explosion is near. Brace yourself as an individual be it a Christian, Islamic,Traditionalist or any other faith. LGBTQI will be accepted whether we like it or not because “For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed—the one who brings destruction. (2 Thessalonians 2:3)”

God will soon judge the world individually and your commitment to him is what matters. Pressing the government to accept LGBTQI or not is not the solution. It’s an individual decision and as a staunch believer, the Power of the Holy Spirit is what I encourage you to hold firmly and embrace.

This will not pass. It will happen for all eyes to witness the prophecy of God unfold. If it happened in Sodom and Gomorrah, know that we are not better than them. They too were God’s creatures and He destroyed them. Brace up Son of God.
