Western Regional Police Commander Cautions Police Officers to Avoid Intimidating Residents. 

The Western Regional Police Commander, DCOP Edusah Poku made this call when the Amenfi East Municipal Assembly with the support from the Western Regional coordinating council during a commissioning of a police post which was built by the residents of Afransie in the Amenfi East District of the Western Region.

Western Regional Police Commander Cautions Police Officers to Avoid Intimidating Residents. 

The Western Regional Police Commander, DCOP Edusah Poku has cautioned police personnel in the Amenfi East District of the Western Region to desist from the act of intimidating residents of the area.

The Western Regional Police Commander, DCOP Edusah Poku made this call when the Amenfi East Municipal Assembly with the support from the Western Regional coordinating council during the commissioning of a police post that was built by the residents of Afransie in the Amenfi East District of the Western Region.

He noted that fighting crime is a shared responsibility and therefore there's a need for residents of Afransie to support the police service in their duty of protecting lives and properties.

The Chief of Afransie,  Nana Amuah Gyaafo II, addressing the gathering called on the residents to be law-abiding because the leaders of the town will not shield any resident if found guilty of any form of wrongdoing that may call for police action. 

The Municipal Chief Executive for Amenfi East Municipality, Honourable Fredrick Korankye speaking at the gathering before the commissioning of the police station commended the residents for the construction of the police post and believes this will help hence the peace the people are enjoying in the area but added that the challenge for developmental projects must be inculcated into the life of every citizen which will. go a long way to support our various communities without only looking to the government for development.
