Chelsea are reported to be monitoring Erling Haaland’s progress at Borussia Dortmund for a transfer to Stamford Bridge next season.

Thomas Tuchel wants to improve his attacking department after Timo Werner’s failure to impress since his arrival in the Premier League. TalkSPORTS reports that Chelsea are willing to cut ties with the German forward to facilitate a move for the Norwegian.

The 20-year old is a hot cake across Europe following interest from Real Madrid and Manchester United after his impressive performance in the Bundesliga and the Champions League.

Haaland has registered 31 goals in 30 appearances for Borussia Dortmund this season as compared to Werner’s 10 goals for Chelsea in all competitions in the current season.

Football insider has confirmed that Tuchel is prepared to part ways with the 25-year old former RB Leipzig's attacker and offer him as a makeweight for Erling Haaland whose buyout clause will be activated in 2022.

This means Dortmund could demand in excess of £100m for any suitors for the signature of the former Salzburg forward and Chelsea want to cut the cost for the services of the talisman.
