Rufftown Records signee, has disclosed that several people have threatened to kill her if she doesn’t stop doing music.
After the demise of the former Rufftown Records talented Ghanaian musician and the 90`s Bad girl, Ebony Reigns, some of her fans have developed a very bitter hatred for Bullet, the Chief Executive Officer of Rufftown Records and Wendy Shay.
According to certain fans of the late Ebony, Bullet is trying so hard for Wendy Shay to look and sound like the deceased musician.
Although the news of Wendy sounding like Ebony has been denied on Radio for a couple of times yet fans are pissed at Bullet for writing songs similar to that of the late Ebony's style for Wendy to sing.
“I've had death threat and people telling me all kind of things like, they will kill me if I don’t stop making music and if I don’t stop being like Ebony. I can never be her and I got confused I have never been her"; she said in an interview.
Much known as 'Kwahu Beyonce', Wendy Shay has revealed that she is focused in what she does best therefore if fans see her style and voice to be in sync with the former and late Rufftown Record signee, so be it.
Wendy will be undertaking her road2roots music tour to Holland on the 14th.
