KOFAS has noted that the numerous lessons that the Akuampem Apollo saga can teach to Ghanaian celebrities.

The movie producer, whose real name is Kofi Asamoah noted that the sentence that the socialite has suffered is a warning to others.

Akuapem Poloo was on Friday jailed for ninety days for some nude photos she published of herself and her son in June last year.

She was subsequently found guilty on counts of a misdemeanour, domestic violence publication of obscene material.

KOFAS highlighted that laws still work in Ghana and celebrities would do well to abide by them.

“The laws in Ghana seem nonexistent until you are at fault. That is when they will read the laws and explain it to you in Twi. We should all learn from her mistake”.

“This should tell us that people can only support to an extent, it is only in the comment section that people will solidarize with you, now that she is in jail none of them will go there and visit her, we should all be guarded,”

“We can create hashtags in your name, start a campaign, print T-shirts in your name, but that is the extent we can get,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, upcoming highlife/afro-pop singer and songwriter, Kwame Ayi Kwaw, popularly known on stage as Stone Gee has vowed to give a sum of GH₵ 500.00 each month to Akuapem Poloo’s mother to take care of her son in her absence for the next three months.

He made this vow because according to him the court made no arrangements for the seven-year-old son of the actress, it is the responsibility of the creative industry stakeholders to support the upkeep of the child until his mother is released from jail.“Who is going to take care of the child for these 90 days that actress is going to be in jail?” Stone Gee asked when he spoke in an interview.

“As an artist and industry stakeholder I have decided to support Akuapem Poloo’s son with GH¢500.00 every month until the mother is released from jail,” he concluded.
