Boris Johnson has assured fans in the United Kingdom that his government is putting measures in place to get fans back to match venues.

Although the Prime Minister did not specify when plans will be effected yet the guarantee is that fans will soon resume to participate in Matchdays.

TalkSPORTS reports that government on Tuesday evening was investigating the appropriate time to allow spectators into stadium and per intelligence, permission would be granted by Christmas in areas with less coronavirus infection rates.

“I understand the frustration over fans and we hope to get crowds back in the ground as soon as possible,” he said in answer to a question from Karl McCartney, the Conservative MP for Lincoln.

The Prime Minister is reported to have told MP’s that the decision to open sports ground is "a personal priority".
