Maa Adwoa has complained about the rising number of bad words in the lyrics of artists across all genres.

The fast-rising artist maintained that it is entirely possible for an artist to sing without cursing or using profanity in the lyrics.

Although she confessed that people are sometimes more attracted to tracks if they have raw words in them, but the industry can do without songs that incite violence.

Using her track, "Joki", as an example, she explained that words in tracks have a powerful impact and they can always cause the youth to do harm to each other all in the name of selling music.

“I think music should send out a message of peace and love and the need to cherish life but not to destroy them. I get really saddened by the choice of words used by some artists which I think is not in the right direction,” she said.

In her Joki track, the artiste did not utter a profane word or a word she knows will cause people to harm each other just to make a point about the power foul words have.

“My new single is an awesome piece and I urge all to take a listen and enjoy the lyrical vibes and to also experience good songwriting abilities,” she explained.

The Clarkzville Entertainment label act concluded by pleading with her colleagues to clean up their acts in other to make Ghana a better place one track at a time.
