Gyakie has condemned the act of comparing artists in Ghana.

The prodigious talent noted that it can never be right to compare two artists because everyone is unique in his or her own way.

While speaking in her most recent interview on BBC, she spoke against the act of using reigning artists to look down on old artists who have come and go.

It would be recalled that she herself was compared to Efya after her 'Forever' track became a mega-hit.

According to her, the artists who have come and go are the ones who paved the way for the new ones who are around.

Ghana should be the focus, and Ghanaian music will not spread to the world if the media keeps causing artists to envy and beef themselves, she opined.

I don’t think it is actually really right to compare artists especially artists that paved way for some upcoming artists like myself and others”,

“I feel like we just have to do the music, take Ghana music to the world and then we can all win together”,

The talented hitmaker, who still goes to school, expressed the challenges she's facing while juggling school and a music career together.

As a student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science of Technology, she declared that anything is possible if one puts their mind to it.

Juggling music and school is not easy at all, but I’m doing this for myself. And then I am also doing this for the young ones or any young person that wants to be creative and wants to accomplish a goal that even if it is difficult, it is very possible for you to juggle the two.”
