Some residents in the Shiekomolo electoral area in the Jaman North District capital, Sampa have expressed their dissatisfaction with their dumpsite.

Speaking to the media, some of the residents pleaded with the Jaman North District Chief Executive and Environmental Protection Agency to as a matter of urgency evacuate the refuse dumping site and relocate it to a more convenient place.

According to them, the current location of the site is surrounded by many houses which pose a threat to their health hence their concern.

They told Soireenews that the unpleasant odour that emanates from the refuse site to their homes every day has been unbearable and all efforts to get authorities to address their concerns proved futile.
